I had actually post this post 2 days ago but due to the bad downtimes we have been having I believe our host restored a database backup or something because the post is no where to be found.
Anyways, to continue on I was able to get in touch with Taras last Saturday i believe and we had a long and good 30min+ chat about the server, 3.3, plugin development, and some other things. As most of you may know or may not know, there has been a change in hand as to whom the project manager is. Since Taras is busy with real life stuff and his brother his trying to concentrate on getting his PhD, Taras handed me the development of the server so now i am the new Project Manager.
Thats part 1 of the chat. Part 2 deals with the process32 bug we have been having problems with. The time i posted this topic before it was deleted i mention that we will be having a new developer join the team. Well we do now. His name is Michael Wong, and he is our C/C++ developer. It is sad that upon his joining the team he had to get to work ASAP fixing the process32 bug, but everything is good. I will let him introduce himself when he is ready.
Part 3 of the chat was about the sqlite database and mod_dav. Integration of sqlite in PHP 5 and also getting mod_dav back up fully in Uniform Server. We talked about different things and also about out place in SourceForge. Most people know about SF’s switch to a new stats system and because of this our rank has gone down a bit. We are now placed in the high 300’s and to help bring us back up we have disabled most of the things we no longer use at SourceForge so that it does not affect our stats.
Michael is currently working hard on fixing the process32 bug and after that is finished we can release 3.3 and get back to working on the plugin developments. For other news, i have patched the blog system manually to 1.5.1.2 due to the latest security warning from Wordpress. The Beta Center is also going to be out soon, a Beta version of it at least and some other things are also going to be happening, big things so watch out.
Thanks
