While digging through awstats for the site, i saw a link to http://www.jinzora.com Took a look around and found a great tool, it allows you to stream your media using a webserver to another user’s pc. It is a very nice tool and one i love because i have about 30GB of media files and i have always wanted to find a way to access them from outside my pc.
Give it a try, you will like it. It is very easy to install and also needs a webserver, which is where Uniform Server comes in. I run my installation on the Uniform Server and got it working at first try 
If you experience any problems, start a topic in the forum and i will be able to help you out. You may also have to edit the php.ini file to work well with the program.

You might also want a look at slimserver which will do that too (although has its own webserver built in)
